Olympia

Olympia is the capital city of the state of Washington and the home of The Evergreen State College. It encompasses the Capitol Lake in the center (just west of Downtown), Budd Bay to the north, a large hill on the West Side and another large hill on the East Side.

As of 2003, the Census has recorded Olympia's population at 43,963 people occupying only 17 square miles.
